• Labor enhancing techniques

• Reassurance and assistance to families in gathering information about the progress of their labor and their options
• Continuous support that does not end at the end of the shift
• A Doula keeps a clear perspective to help keep mom and dad remain calm and relaxed during labor and birth
• A Doula helps relieve dad so he can enjoy the birth experience
